This session will provide BC businesses, proponents and EPCs (engineering and procurement contractors) an opportunity to share information on major LNG projects and what will be required for successful engagement. In this forum, businesses will hear from proponents and EPCs on several LNG projects and will have the chance to speak directly to their state of readiness. This is a must-attend workshop for those who are, or wish to be, serious contract contenders.
Day 1 of the Conference will conclude with dinner and a featured Keynote from Maarten Wetselaar, Executive Vice President Integrated Gas, Shell.

LNG-Buy BC Session First Nations Forum
In this forum, participants will hear directly from First Nations and Aboriginal-owned businesses on how BC businesses can engage and collaborate on LNG opportunities. Presentations from Aboriginal-owned businesses that are directly engaged in aspects of LNG development will be supported by presentations from potential engineering and procurement contractors and BC businesses that are seeking to form, or are already involved in, joint ventures around LNG. An added feature will be discussion around Aboriginal law as it applies to these business ventures.
